After Catalina & Juan Carlos turned 50, they decided they wanted a change of life and started a new life in the mountains.
Since 2012, they have been receiving guests at their new home in Malalcahuello from around the world.
Sustainability is a form of life for Catalina and Juan Carlos, and you will see that sustainability is not incompatible with the warmth and quality of the home.

Stay with them

Made with native woods and stones brought from the banks of the Cautín River, with a large kitchen open to the dining room, and a spiral staircase that connects its two floors with incredible views of the mountains. Welcome to their beauitful home.
They have capacity for 11 people, which they distribute in 3 private bedrooms, and in a private loft with a separate entrance and private bathroom for 4 people.

Catalina and Juan Carlos are capable of delivering a complete and tailored full immersion experience. From organizing unique experiences, like trekkings and guide visits to the national parks, to skiing at Corralco or horseback riding close to the volcanoes. They are well known for their cuisine, the best in the area! Catalina and Juan Carlos offer something for everyone, & remote workers are very welcome at their house.

EcoCura is a citizen organization lead by local women that seeks to turn Curacautín into a green city and to this end promotes the reduction, reuse and recycling of waste through awareness, collective work, education and the materialization of projects.
Additionally, they collect and channel the delivery of certain types of waste such as tetrapaks, used edible oil, cans and plastic caps for recycling.
